Yesss I want this. The tricky bit is how would they come to such an arrangement, since Natasha is going to be generally concealing her fighting skills. However I am open to either some handwaving to make this happen (Natasha definitely fought some of the doppleganger dolls) or for some kind of team-up that establishes A Relationship.

Or any other idea you have.

we can definitely see what'll happen during the event, as it might lead to some kind of fighting. otherwise, diana is going to start sparring with her "husband" and also does some light training in the public park on occasion. she doesn't want to alarm the neighbors, but she also isn't going to slack off you know? if nothing comes up, i'm also down with handwaving!

Ohhh shit so much good stuff here. I'm so game for both of these ghouls accidentally learning more about each other than a) they let on and b) than the other wanted. If Vasiliy overhears anyone referring to her as Natasha when she's going by Natalie, that's probably going to be all it takes for him to become convinced that she's Russian or the child of recent emigrés - he's effectively doing the same thing by going by Vasiliy instead of Vasya, albeit for different reasons (people who don't have an intuitive understanding of when it's ok to use a diminutive and when it's not really rub his fur the wrong way). On that vein he's probably going to trip and call her Natalia a few times, especially at first, because obvs that's the form of that particular name that he's used to.

I can definitely see a future in which he's down to coordinate with her to add on to the spying, which is right up his alley. She'll probably notice with a little time that he's very, very interested in anything she might have seen while out on these "errand" trips.

I have some ideas for that intro long if you wanna plot out a first meeting!

The Natalie/Natalia thing is definitely something I was going for, besides a gesture to a few of her canon alter-egos.

Anyway, yes. I told you I was going for the standard "wake up in bed" scenario, and I'm open to most ways for that to go? Either Natasha can wake up first and sneak around a bit— she's good at sneaking, but even if she were supernaturally quiet, Vasily has to wake up sometime. I'm also cool with him waking up first, and interrogating her/generally freaking out, possibly with the gun involved.

Obviously if they're hostile out of their first encounter she'll be less likely to be open w/him in the short term, but in the longer term Natasha is, at least, pretty forgiving about being interrogated at gunpoint.

I've also decided she will try to bake things for the neighbors (as a way of snooping on the neighbors), but she can't really cook, especially not American potluck style.

I'm pretty flexible about that!! I usually don't like complete facetwin hijinx because it can get confusing with potential doubles, but I don't think that's as much of an issue in this game.

If you want to have Wanda recognize Natasha (or just think she recognizes Natasha) I am definitely game for that.

i'm down for underground sparring practices! angelo is young but tenacious when it comes to such things.

Natasha sometimes takes A Teen under her wing for training purposes and it goes well about 50% of the time.

eh, if it works it works and if it doesn't that's fine too! angelo's not the easiest of personalities to work with and natasha has her own issues, it'll be a toss-up and we'll see where the cr falls in the end.

I don't know exactly how to make this CR happen, but I want it. I feel like they have some overlap with their upbringings as well as the whole superhero, assassin and time travel thing. XD

Aren't you paying attention, Natasha hates time travel. Also because of her upbringing Natasha can be both protective and very harsh to people she reads as child soldiers so I think there's an opportunity for some misunderstandings with Five there, if that's something you'd want to play with.

He's not exactly in love with it, since things keep getting messed up. And I am certainly down for misunderstandings, it is not like he is the most forthcoming person. So I could certainly see how she might get a bad read on him.

He does look twelve. Anyway I think it would be fun to throw them into a scenario where they have to work together, because Natasha is also not very forthcoming.

He will dispute the age thing until the cows come home. I do agree being forced to work together would likely be the best way for them both to get a read on the other. I'm not going to sign up for the event this month, but I'm down to do the adjacent stuff that is related to the event. So hopefully there will be an element we can use, unless we think of something else.
