NAME: Randall Flagg
AGE: Early 40s (apparent), 1500-2000 (actual)
ROLE & FAMILY MEMBERS: Happy husband in a house where every single person is older than they look, living with The Countess and Number Five. Nothing could ever go wrong with that.
HOUSING: 433 Carpenter Boulevard
EMPLOYMENT/EDUCATION: He's brand new and doesn't have a job yet. You probably don't want him as your coworker anyway.
REGULAR HAUNTS: He likes to walk around outside and just generally loiter in public places because he's not used to having a house and doesn't want anyone to get any weird ideas about him being a "person" that can "be held within four walls" instead of a proper untamable entity. He's also an avid reader and can be spotted at the library...or just reading pamphlets and flyers that people have discarded or handed out to him.
HANDWAVED CR OPTIONS: If you like to stay out late at the shadiest possible locations, you might meet him. When he's not lurking around ominously, he's pretending to be a good neighbor and getting to know everyone. He loves to cook and may randomly drop some food off. You should not eat it. It's not poison but he's trying out the worst recipes he can find.
CHARACTER BACKGROUND: He's a part-human part-cosmic-entity who is the physical manifestation of evil and hatred and all that good stuff. Exists to start wars and collapse civilizations and end worlds and...when those options aren't available, to have fun and convince others to misbehave. A lot of people think he's Satan, but he's not. He isn't even a proper demon. He's a wizard (and I do mean a literal fantasy wizard) who figured out how to world hop and traded in his wizard robes for a Canadian tuxedo. Magic is cool and all but his real strength lies in his very high charisma stat; he's got a knack for bringing out the worst in everyone and getting people to act on their worst desires. And he's a total shitposter who loves bad jokes, so there's that, too.
CURRENT PLANS/POTENTIAL HOOKS: He has two goals right now: one is to try and find out why they're here and how to get out (he's experienced with inter-dimensional travel and although this world doesn't play by the same rules as his own he'll still be happy to discuss it), and the other is to test the limits and power of this place by getting his neighbors into trouble. If you've got a character that is thinking of misbehaving and just needs a little push, he's your guy.
