HOUSING: 107 loomis drive with wifey pam poovey, and babbu kipo oak
EMPLOYMENT/EDUCATION: i have not decided yet. maybe a home improvement store for all of his gadget needs~
REGULAR HAUNTS: his home or creeping around town. not a big people person, so always good if you annoy him first
HANDWAVED CR OPTIONS: not entirely sure. december and january were real slow months for me as we move out of the holidays, but bruce started the neighborhood watch, so if you're a part of that, feel free to say they've already been introduced to each other. other than that, lmk your ideas here!


CHARACTER BACKGROUND: his parents are dead and he's batman
CURRENT PLANS/POTENTIAL HOOKS: bruce is a detective, so he'll be getting into trouble a lot. he has his costume, so that's separate cr if you wanna get to know batman (unless your char knows that bruce is batman already).
OPEN POSTS/TOPLEVELS: gonna plan an early febuary open log of batman breaking into and investigating the police station. his focus areas are evidence, past crime reports, and harding's office

TRIGGERS/PERMISSIONS: batman's cr includes parental death, obviously, though nothing overtly triggering that i can think of. i will edit as is necessary.

I need to make intro posts for Bruce's beautiful new wife. She will be a part of his neighborhood watch, because she likes any excuse to punch people. She will also spy on him the second she realizes he sneaks out at night, so beware, Brucey. If she finds out his secret, she's gonna want a costume. (Also, she will believe his parents were jerks who named him after a comic book right up until....)

Honestly, my first hope is just to have Papyrus and Bruce meet as neighbors. I figure with Bruce being a homebody who's out investigating at random, they may not have interacted directly yet. Kipo's caught Papyrus putting decorations in the yard (along with the rest of Loomis Drive) before, but I'm not sure whether Bruce would have weighed in on that...? At some point in January he took them back, and more recently he's trying to do the full 'bring over food gifts as an excuse to say hi' thing that the rest of the town seems to do.

Either way, he might be interested in the neighborhood watch - sentry experience, general worries about unexpected corpses - but I'm not sure how that's been advertised IC. Is it clearly a thing started by newcomers to town?

i would assume so! i put up an ooc post a little bit back regarding player interest, but really anybody can join. i would think there are flyers and word of mouth around the neighborhood-- you know, the sort of thing you neighbor heard from their neighbor and so on, or maybe he saw them out on the street at night from his window and got curious, etc.
